The podium was the perfect place for Thunderbird watching on the weekend at the 2017 Canadian Track and Field Championships in Ottawa. UBC Thunderbirds athletes and alumni won three national titles at the senior level, and six medals overall, while in the under-20 competition, current T-Birds and incoming recruits also took home three gold medals, and nine in all.
