Stanford splits its track and field squad to compete in two important indoor qualifying meets this weekend before the postseason begins.

A dozen UBC track and field athletes will join over 1,200 NCAA competitors at this Saturday's Husky Classic and Sunday's University of Washington Indoor Open in Seattle.

New York, NY Though just eight athletes competed this weekend, the UBC Thunderbirds track and field team took advantage of stiff competition and came away with a number of personal best performances.

Vancouver, BC The UBC Thunderbirds track and field team will make their presence felt as far East as NYC and as far west as Seattle this weekend.

For the second straight year, UBC Thunderbirds have claimed two of the three nominations for University Athlete of the Year at the Sport BC Athlete of the Year Awards.
